The Juggling Life

Who says we keep all the balls in the air? It seems like there are always one or two that get away. But luckily, none of the ones I've dropped to date are "glass" balls. When those hit the floor, the effects are far reaching. Juggling is a fact of a busy life. Now where in the heck is that application to juggling school? Maggie Toussaint

But what do you do when all the juggling objects are equally important?

I've found that I really need to step back, take a deep breath, and give myself a pep talk ("You can do this, yes you can"). This happens at work a lot -- I get handed a project and look at it and think "Man, no way can I do this" then a month later I have a new book written and the product is going out the door.

I guess we get used to it -- maybe.
